What's the most frightening thing Mother Nature did to you as a young'n?

Mine was when I was in a marsh and the earth drooped out from under me. I went down about 4 ft and I went right back up to safer ground w/o touching the bottom. You will never convince me that that the human body cannot defy gravity. It was probably muskrat diggings.
