About the Canon XH A1?

So my brother likes to rap lol,and im looking for a camera that i can film videos for that will come out very clear and look professional. But i was wondering if i could use a memory card with the Canon XH A1? Because my computer USB port doesnt work and i dont have a firewire cord! oh and does it record to tapes? or to the memory card. if not is there a camera that will film good but goes to memory card ? please help
