Can someone please help me?

I'm 13 and I've been coughing for sometime now, I think since the beginning of Easter break a couple months back, but it's gotten better, but I still cough a few times a day, I thought it was the whooping cough but I remember taking the vaccine for it sometime in January. Is it possible that vaccine didn't work?
